Schlosschen Bielefeld in Bielefeld

This little beautiful café with so much love is a must! I've been there twice now and enjoyed it every time! You can sit outside with the children in a relaxed atmosphere with a hot or cold drink and let the children play in the adjoining playground or, like me, inside with a good book a delicious piece of cake, in my case a piece of Linzer with a lactose-free latte and Ostwestfalen mineral water ! I can only give 5 stars because I like it through and through! Even the service is attentive and very personable!

Every time I come by at noon, it's like an hour's vacation - thanks for that!

Disappointing! We had hoped for more because of the many good reviews. First of all, the location with the small playground in front of it is nice and the latte machiatto tasted good. For € 3.40, the price of the small glass is totally excessive. Quiche and wrap just plain bland and boring. The most delicious was the decorative tomato. The piece of quiche was like a "greeting from the kitchen", you won't get nearly full of it. A total of € 18.40 for 1 mini quiche, 1 wrap, 1 apple spritzer, 1 latte machiatto and 1 white coffee. Price-performance are in no relation. If we had been served by a friendly landlady with a smile, with whom one would have had the feeling that she likes her job, we would at least give the whole thing a second chance for "going for a drink". But even there, unfortunately, not the case. We won't see the "Schlösschen" again, there are too many better cafes in town for that.

Pure cosiness: a cute little café with a lot of love for detail, homemade cakes and small dishes. Outdoor area with playground in the middle of the city.

Nice little locality in Bielefeld, minimally off the beaten track, but all the more relaxed, especially with the very friendly staff. Can't say much about the prices as I was there for a birthday.
